Who is Coaching For?
A personal reflection on who I believe can benefit from coaching.
Coaching is defined in many ways. For me, coaching is a non-directive process, an invitation for reflection in a collaborative dialogue, a space for exploration and self-discovery — all this with the aim of helping one unlock their potential and reach their goals.
So who is coaching for? For anyone who has a goal in mind and a desire to work towards it — whether it’s gaining clarity and awareness around a topic, creating a plan to get from point A to B, or exploring beliefs that interfere with closing the gap between where one is and where they want to be.
Yet, who is coaching for? It is for anyone who wants a space in which they can actively work on their goals. A space to think through what it takes to get where they want to go. A space to gain insights about their goals and the journey towards reaching them. A space of faith in one’s potential. A space of equal partnership.
And yet, who is coaching for? For you, when you want to make things happen.
